McQueen Stable Off To Hot Start At Leamington Meet

For the second straight Sunday since the meet began at Leamington Raceway, the track's defending training champion Cameron McQueen has sent out a trio of winners on the weekly card.

McQueen's winners on the Sunday, Aug. 16 program included the claimed sophomore pacing filly Regil Whitesocks ($2.70) in the opener, stable newcomer Crown Monarch ($3) in the sixth race trot and veteran pacer Livin Large ($6) in the 10th race finale. The latter was a repeat winner at Leamington from a week ago and is now an 11-time winner this season in the Ontario claiming ranks (only 12 other horses in North America have more wins in 2026). 

Nick Steward drove the McQueen stable's Sunday starters, including four others that all picked up cheques.
