Chief Of Staff equalled the Leamington Raceway track record for aged pacers on Sunday, Sept. 6, stopping the clock in 1:54.4.
Trained by Michael Stamp and driven by Robert Doyle, the nine-year-old gelding took control before the opening quarter and never looked back, winning by four lengths.
The victory tied the record previously set by Beavercreek Artist in 2018 and matched by Arizona in 2023.
Chief Of Staff has now won three of his last four starts at Leamington and owns 32 career victories with earnings just shy of $220,000.
