Big Day For Laver and Doyle

Robert Doyle and Darryl Laver were the stars of the card at Leamington Raceway on Sunday, Aug. 23.

Doyle drove five winners on the 11-race program, including two from his own stable and two for Laver. His victories included Captain Butler, Scottish Cheddar, Scott Bruiser, Favaro Seelster and Ruredyforagoodtime.

Laver enjoyed a perfect day at Leamington, going three-for-three with wins from Favaro Seelster, Ruredyforagoodtime and Final Dream, driven by Garrett Rooney. Laver also had two winners at Clinton Raceway to finish five-for-five overall on the day.

Doyle continues to close in on his career-best driving season, while Laver’s three Leamington victories pushed his career training total to 265.
